I arrived with my husband to an elegant weeding reception. We didn't know any of the guests. In a table occupied by eight people someone kindly offered us to take two available seats. A few minutes later, a lady who was seated in front of me told me Madam I know you. ˇ you are Homero's Mother ! How proud I felt She was mentioning to my beloved and beautiful Persian cat . When we got him, he was only two months old . In a way he had been the "ugly duck" of the litter, not much was expected from him . Nevertheless, we received him with great joy, filled him with care and above all our deepest love. As in the tale of the "Ugly duck" everybody was surprised when he became a beautiful swan, our "ugly cat" as the time went by realized an spectacular beauty. Today Homero is a truly majestic blue Persian. In many ways he knows that , the way he walks is so slow and distinguished that my husband calls him "his excellence " The one who was the "ugly cat" competed two years in cat shows and in both years he won the tittle of "Best Cat in premier-ship of the year". I think of him and wish I could tell him how much I love him and also thank "Melito" for allowing me to be your mother. Thanks for your presence, your love, your beauty and all your awards. Thanks because, in letting me love you, my life became full of love.
